SOLO - the pioneer in the manufacture of mobile pesticide equipment, started its world-wide success course already in 1950. The introduction of the world's first backpack able motorized fogging machine made it possible to relieve the environment from uncontrolled release of pesticides while freeing the user from the yoke of the extremely exhausting work of protecting crops.

 

SOLO was the world's first manufacturer to employ UV-resistant plastic material in the construction of tanks for liquid and established thereby the basis for additional weight-saving and carrying comfort. This development was supported by further and further size-reduced and more powerful small engines from Solo's own construction and production.
